We have a £150 order minimum.

Bespoke Design Service

Should you wish to commission a bespoke design, there is a non-refundable fee of £50. If you decide to place an order the fee is set against the final invoice. Your bespoke design commission will include up to three design options, full proposal and quotes. Alternatively, please send a design brief with as much information as possible so an estimate can be provided. Design work will only be provided once payment is made.


Tasting consultations can be arranged at Sophie's studio in London (Chelsea) with a maximum of two people attending. There is a fee of £25, which includes up to three flavours of your choice. Alternatively, sample boxes can be posted directly for £30 (+ delivery). Payment is due before consultations or boxes are sent out.

Update: 13 March 20' - Due to the current situation re Covid 19, until further notice, tastings will now only be posted directly in order to keep the studio clean and clear of any outside visitations.

Date Reservations

Event date reservations can be made in the diary. However a £100 non-refundable deposit is required to fully secure this.

Payment & Deposits

Cakes will not be supplied without full payment made in advance. A 30% non-refundable deposit (minimum £50) is required on confirmation for all orders. The final balance, specified on the invoice, is due at least 21 days before delivery or collection. Payment can be made earlier if you wish. Orders placed less than 21 days in advance of delivery must be paid in full. Payment can be made by BACS transfer, cheque or cash.

Price Quotations

All price quotes are valid for 30 days from date of quotation.


Where possible every endeavour will be made to make any alterations to your order, this will carry a charge for any additional costs incurred.


As your wedding/celebration cake booking is reserved solely for you and certain components for your cake/s my be ordered months in advance, the following conditions are implemented when an order is cancelled: More than 21 days notice 50% of the total cost will be payable. Less than 21 days notice 100% of the total cost will be payable. Please note that all booking deposits, tasting fees, design services and diary reservation dates are non-refundable.

Cake Stand Hire

Unfortunately we do not currently offer a cake stand hire.

Allergies & Dietary Requirements

Please discuss any allergies or dietary requirements before making payment. Gluten free options are available however please be aware that all products are baked and prepared in a kitchen which handles all the main food allergens including nuts, gluten (wheat), dairy and eggs. Unfortunately we cannot cater for vegan, eggless or dairy free cakes.

Delivery & Collection

Celebration cakes of two tiers or less are to be collected from Sophie's studio in London (Chelsea). Wedding cakes and larger celebration cakes will be delivered and set up for an extra charge (strongly advised), the price of which is dependant on postcode and length of time required on site. If cakes are collected we cannot be held liable for any damages occurred to the product once it has left our premises. All cakes are very fragile in transit and it is the responsibility of the buyer to drive slowly and carefully. Cakes should be placed on a flat, tidy surface on non-slip matting. If cakes are delivered we cannot be held liable for any damages occurred to the product once delivery and set up has been made.

Non-edible Ingredients & Decoration

Some cakes may contain non-edible ingredients such as plastic dowels in tiered cakes or wires in some sugarflowers. These will be made aware of when your cake is delivered/collected.

Fresh Flowers

It is possible to decorate your cake using fresh flowers however please be aware they are not safe for consumption (unless stated otherwise) and must be removed before serving. We cannot be liable for the misuse of fresh flowers. For wedding or larger celebration cakes please firstly speak with your florist to see if they are able to supply extra flowers for the cake, simply for continuity purposes. We are then very happy to liaise with them directly and arrange to decorate on site.
