About Sophie

I want to make cakes that bring a smile to your face. To strive for and achieve that ‘wow’ moment at your cake's first sighting brings me so much joy. Artistry, creativity and a love of sugary treats have brought me to the fortunate position I am in today. There is nothing sweeter than being a part of a couple’s wedding day or your mothers special 80th birthday celebration.

Sugar flowers or fresh flowers, classic piping work or hand painting, there are countless options that can be included to create the cake you dream for. With skills that have been finely perfected and loved. I only want to make the best for you.

I’ve always been a creative person, this very much stemmed from my mother’s influence, the baking side as well. Having been through art school and starting my working life in costume design, it was inevitable I would continue down the artistic path. I turned my hand from costume to cake in 2014, starting out in the home kitchen but soon realising that rather a lot of space was required.

The Royal Wedding in 2018 has been my biggest achievement to date, only four years on from launching the business. Since then, I moved into my lovely Chelsea studio, nervously navigated covid like so many others and ultimately grateful to still be able to create beautiful cakes.
